The routes

From Taunton take the A39 west - between Lynmouth and Porlock there are 2 roads signposted towards Brendon. Take the first one you come across. The road will take you into the village of Brendon. The Rockford Inn is about 1/2 mile further on - there is a sign post to direct you.

From Barnstaple take the A39 east towards Lynton (dont go into Lynton). 2.4 miles after Barbrook turn right onto the B3223. Take the 2nd turning on your left. If you miss it dont worry take the next turning on your left. Both roads will take you down into the hamlet of Rockford.

From the South on the A361 turn North onto the A399 at N Aller Roundabout. After 1.4 miles turn right towards Kinsford Hill. At Simonsbath turn left onto the B3223 towards Lynton. The road will take you over the moor. After the second cattle grid take the first right towards Brendon. This road will take you down into the hamlet of Rockford
